After a series of lineup changes and a period of soul searching, Sunforger was wrought from the ashes of its previous incarnation, Mono No Aware. Its new embodiment combines four longtime friends and collaborators into a tight four-piece unit. Together they craft concise and emotive rock, somewhere between post punk and post grunge, using unique structures, tunings, chord voicings and rhythms. Listeners are welcomed with warm and inviting earnestness, grooves that nod your head and melodies that won’t leave it.
